"A collective led by siblings, IMBER belongs to a new British wave blurring the boundaries between genres and formats."

Riptide Mag

They grew up between the North Devon coast and Cornwall before settling in Bristol, and the contrast between those places runs through the music.

IMBER have had long-running support from BBC Introducing, including Tracks of the Week in the West, alongside airplay on Amazing Radio, BCFM and BBC Radio Bristol.

"With IMBER, the light is never a given. It has to be looked for, made, sometimes barely."

Riptide Mag

"The production alternates between atmospheric and introspective moments and sections of greater rhythmic intensity that break the calm with precision."

Zone Notes

"Multi-dimensional and textured. The sophistication of the project is elevated to a new level."

Phonograph Me

"No doubting the harmonies that slide out of Bristol three-piece Imber and with a regularity that feels like sunshine is their default setting."

mp3hugger

"Woozy guitars and serene vocals."
